Альбом складається з чотирьох розділів. Перший розділ - екскурс в історію обителі. Другий - присвячено лаврським печерам. Третій, найбільший, - відображає повсякденне життя Лаври та її насельників. Цей розділ побудовано за церковним календарем, починаючи із вересня і завершуючи серпнем, адже все життя ченців упорядковане згідно із богослужбовим річним колом. Перше свято, яке відкриває цей розділ - Різдво Пресвятої Богородиці, а завершує його Усніппя Божої Матері - головне храмове свято Києво-Печерської Лаври. В останньому розділі вміщені фотографії найвизначніших лаврських святинь. |

The photo album tells about the life of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra - the great Orthodox sanctuary. For the first time after many years of silence the photo album about the Lavra as a monastery, a spiritual treasury and piety school and not as «museum storage» with walls and exponents but without spirit and life has been published. The album consists of four chapters. The first chapter is the history of the cloister. The second chapter is devoted to Lavra Caves. The third and the biggest chapter tells about today's life of the Lavra and its brethren. This chapter is compiled according to the Church calendar - starting with September and finishing with August. It starts with the Nativity of the Most-Holy Theotokos feast and finishes with the Dornition of the Mother of God - the patronal feast of the Holy-Dormition Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.
